If you've followed this website for any length of time you've come to realize that I don't do like a lot of other blogs out there, I don't link to the Sun Times, Tribune, or official Chicago Bears site.  I try to stay away from the reporting that comes from the stuff you can find on ESPN/AP, all the basic stuff that typical writers do.

This type of writing and analysis is not what I'm about because you can find just about the same level of crap on the Tribune as you find anywhere else on any other sports web page.  In other words the stuff you find here won't be the same stuff you read on WindyCityGridiron.  It takes a unique article to qualify for coverage or a mention on this blog, and this blog from FootballOutsiders.com really hits the nail on the head.

The article I am speaking of  is  Doug Farrar's Cover-1 What's Wrong with Jay Cutler.

This article is by far and away the best article I have found on the web yet that gets to the real heart of understanding football, and more appropriately for Bears fans, what's wrong with Jay Cutler.

The article goes into all aspects of what is wrong with the Bears' offense the lack off pass protection, and the problems with having three receivers all cut from the same cloth.

I hope you enjoy reading the article as much as I did, because it truly provides the best understanding of the 2009 Chicago Bears that I have found anywhere else on the web.
